At Omoh Homes Foundation, we believe that no one should be forgotten just because they were born on the wrong side of opportunity. Founded in the heart of Kibera, we exist to restore dignity, rebuild hope, and provide essential services to underserved communities across Nairobi—including Huruma, Mathare, Dandora, Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Landi Mawe, Soweto, Baba Dogo, Kariobangi, and Kangemi.
Our approach is rooted in intentional kindness, resilience, and sustainable impact. Whether it’s through health care, shelter, education, or empowerment, we stand beside the people we serve—not as saviors, but as partners in the journey of rebuilding.
Our Mission
To walk with individuals and families affected by poverty, disaster, and displacement—restoring access, agency, and hope through practical, community-based solutions.
What We Do
We operate several life-changing programs, including
Jamii Health Care Program (JHC): Free maternal care, chronic illness support, elderly outreach, and community health education.
Omoh Shelter Program (OSP): Emergency shelter and rebuilding for families affected by fire, floods, or forced evictions.
Weekend Learning Clubs: Academic support for children in informal settlements.
Youth Mentorship & Creative Labs: Safe spaces for teens to dream beyond crime and poverty.
Micro-Business Support: Restocking mama mboga kiosks and offering micro-loans to women-led businesses.
Dignity Drives: Providing menstrual hygiene kits, food packs, and emergency essentials during crises.
